It could so easily have been a banana skin on the long road to the title - but Arsenal were imperious in their dominant defeat of Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday.

The 3-0 away win maintains Arsenal’s five-point lead at the top of the table as Gabriel, Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli all struck in a comprehensive display of quality and control which sets the league leaders up nicely for a big week ahead - with the Europa League second leg against Sporting Lisbon and a key domestic match against London rivals Crystal Palace both on the horizon.
