Man Utd more reliant on Fernandes than City are on Haaland

Bruno Fernandes and Erling Haaland have become firm favourites with their Manchester clubs.
It has been revealed that Arsenal were the least reliant team on any one individual for their goal involvements during their Premier League-winning 2025/26 season.
The Gunners won the title last season, and look set to be the main contenders to pick up the gong once again. Manchester City will be their biggest rivals for the title, while Liverpool and Manchester United, among others, will be aiming for the top four. United, for their part, are the most reliant team on a single player when it comes to goal involvements. The 2025/26 season data shows that Bruno Fernandes was the main man for the Red Devils last season, and it's already proving to be the same this term.

Fernandes was outstanding in United's 5-2 win over Ipswich Town as the hosts came back from a goal down, with the attacking midfielder scoring an impressive hat-trick. Fernandes has scored or assisted 45.95% (34 of 74) of United's Premier League goals since the start of the 2025/26 season. United are more reliant on Fernandes than City are on Erling Haaland, for instance. Fernandes has been involved in 37.4% of all United PL goals since joining (147 of 393). He has contributed a goal or assist in 46.12% of PL games played (107 of 232).
