The latest Premier League transfer rumours, featuring news from Manchester United, Aston Villa and Arsenal.

Welcome to today’s run-through of the latest new Premier League transfer rumours. Today, we have got news from Manchester United, Aston Villa and Arsenal. Starting in the North West at Old Trafford, Marcus Rashford has ‘rejected’ three offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia, according to a report by the Daily Mail.

The 27-year-old, who has 60 caps for England, has been frozen out by Ruben Amorim over recent times and is facing an uncertain long-term future with his current club. He has been on the books of the Red Devils for his whole career to date and rose up through their academy ranks.

The attacker has made 426 appearances in all competitions for United to date and has scored 138 goals, seven of which have come this season. It remains to be seen whether he will leave now the January transfer window is open for business.

The 3AM Verdict: Marcus Rashford could do with a change of scene to get his career back on track. It is obvious that Ruben Amorim doesn’t really fancy him and cutting ties with Manchester United would suit all parties involved here. It is not a surprise to see him reject interest from Saudi Arabian clubs though as a move to the Middle East probably isn’t best for him right now. He could do with finding another team in Europe to show what he can do.

Aston Villa eye attacker

Aston Villa are in ‘talks’ with Borussia Dortmund attacker Donyell Malen over a move back to England, Sky Sports report. Unai Emery has the chance to bolster his ranks this winter ahead of the second-half of the campaign.

The Holland international has been with Dortmund since 2021 after they snapped him up from PSV. He has found the net on 39 occasions in 131 outings for the Bundesliga giants and helped them reach the Champions League final last year. They were beaten by Real Madrid at Wembley.

The 3AM Verdict: Donyell Malen would be an eye-catching addition for Aston Villa if they were able to get him. He would give them more competition and depth going forward and would inject more quality into their ranks. The attacker has scored goals over in Germany and has decent pedigree behind him.

Arsenal in hunt for striker

Arsenal are chasing down the league leaders Liverpool and are being linked with Brighton and Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson. TalkSPORT report they are ‘eyeing a shock swoop’ for the Republic of Ireland international along with fellow top flight sides West Ham and Fulham.

The Gunners may have identified the 20-year-old as a long-term option up top. He has seen his starting opportunities at the AMEX Stadium dry up this term.

The 3AM Verdict: Evan Ferguson has bags of potential but it hasn’t worked out for him so far this season for whatever reason. If Arsenal were to snap him up, he is someone who Mikel Arteta can slowly ease into the team in the future. He has proved in the past he can score goals and he just needs a chance to prove himself again now.
