It has been a season of mixed fortunes so far for Bournemouth - but they will hope to make the most of hectic schedule during December to force their way into the top half of the Premier League table.
After recovering from last week’s 2-1 home defeat against Brighton & Hove Albion with a 4-2 win at struggling Wolverhampton Wanderers, Andoni Iraola’s men are sat in thirteenth place in the table - but crucially, they lie just four points shy of the top six as they now turn their attention towards Thursday night’s home clash with Tottenham Hotspur. A win over Ange Postecoglou’s side would see Bournemouth leapfrog their visitors in the table and send them into the weekend’s visit to Ipswich Town on a high.

The former Bristol City man suffered a torn meniscus in October that has limited him to eight appearances in all competitions so far this season and he has not featured since a 2-0 home win against Arsenal. The latest update came last month when Iraola said: “He trained [after Arsenal], but after training, he was feeling pain. He went [for] the MRI, and we could see a meniscus [tear]. The doctors decided [it] could be repaired. [It will be] definitely more than six weeks, but I don’t know how much.” Predicted return date: Late-December
