All the latest injury news for Brighton ahead of their Premier League clash against Newcastle United.

Brighton and Hove Albion will be looking to make it two Premier League victories on the spin when they come up against Newcastle United this weekend. The Seagulls finally returned to winning ways last time out, beating Champions League-chasing Aston Villa 1-0 at the Amex Stadium courtesy of a late strike from Joao Pedro.

Prior to that result, Albion had not picked up all three points in the top flight since beating Nottingham Forest on March 10th, and their poor run of form had all but ruled them out of the running for European qualification this season. Now, with three games left to play, Roberto de Zerbi’s men lie 11th in the table.

For their part, Newcastle are still very much in the hunt for a continental spot this term, and will be desperate to finish their campaign strongly to secure their place in Europe next season. They are currently sixth in the table, four points behind Spurs above them.

But how will Albion line up on Tyneside this Saturday? We’ve taken a closer look at their team news, as well any expected return dates where available, below...

Evan Ferguson

The precocious striker is ruled out until next season with a persistent ankle injury. Speaking about his player recently, De Zerbi said: 'Evan felt pain in the ankle a lot of times. He tried to move on and play with pain, but in the end, he preferred to stop and think about next season.'

Solly March

March continues his lengthy period of rehabilitation following a season-ending knee injury back in October, and will not feature again until next term.

Jack Hinshelwood

Another promising young talent sidelined with an ankle injury, Hinshelwood will not play again in 2023/24, but will be hoping to get a full preseason in ahead of the new campaign.

Kaoru Mitoma

Mitoma is suffering from a lower back complaint, and as far back February, the expectation was that he would be out for the campaign. Speaking then, De Zerbi said: 'It's the back injury which kept him out against Everton. It's an important problem. I think two or three months, so finished for the season.'

Pervis Estupinan

The full-back is sidelined with an ankle injury, and like several others on this list, is unlikely to feature again before the season draws to a close in a couple of weeks’ time.

Tariq Lamptey

Lamptey is struggling with a muscular injury, and while the understanding is that this weekend may come too soon for him, he could be back in time to face Manchester United on the final day.

James Milner

Likewise, Milner may be in contention to make his return on the last day of the season. The veteran has been suffering from a thigh problem.

Jan Paul van Hecke

As yet, there is no concrete return date in mind for Van Hecke, who is also struggling with a thigh issue.

Brighton’s final injury concern, Lallana also has no definite target outlined for his comeback from an unspecified injury at this stage.
