Webster, Lamptey, Dunk: full Brighton injury news and potential return dates ahead of Southampton game
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
Brighton just have a way of getting things right. They continue to produce both managers and players of high standards, and not many would have predicted they’d be sitting in fifth place in the league table after 12 games.
They’ve also found a way to keep producing top-quality players. Just two seasons ago, they sold Moisés Caicedo, and now they have Carlos Baleba, who is already showing an even higher ceiling than the Ecuadorian.

Tariq Lamptey - hip injury
The Ghana international suffered a hip injury three weeks ago and hasn’t played since. The good news is that he’s almost ready and is likely to be in the squad for the Southampton game this weekend.
Adam Webster - thigh injury
Webster has been sidelined with a thigh injury and suffered a setback when he attempted to return. However, he has now resumed training and is pushing to be involved in the match against Southampton.
Lewis Dunk - shin injury
Club captain Dunk has been in and out of the team recently, primarily due to his ongoing shin problem. He’s back in training, but manager Fabian Hürzeler has emphasised the need for patience: “Lewis was training, but we’ll have to see how the next two days go. He’s close, but we need to be careful.”

The former Manchester City midfielder will be out until the new year due to a thigh issue. His manager has not given a specific timeline: “It’s not close, but again, I can’t give a clear schedule. It could be fast, or it could take a bit longer, so I don’t want to set any dates for his return.”
Solomon March - knee injury
March is recovering from a knee injury and there is no set return date. The manager has called for patience, noting that recovery from such a long injury can be unpredictable: “We need to give him a lot of time. It’s not a comeback that will go in a linear way, there will be ups and downs. But he’s doing quite well mentally and physically, and he’s on the right track.” The manager said.
Hinshelwood is dealing with what the manager describes as a small knee injury. He was part of the squad training today ahead of the game against Southampton.
