We begin Friday's Premier League transfer rumour round-up with an update from Spanish outlet Sport, who claim that Chelsea and Tottenham ‘would be willing to bid’ for Barcelona winger Raphinha if and when the Brazilian is put up for sale this summer. Formerly of Leeds United, the attacker has been usurped somewhat by wonderkid Lamine Yamal, and could be sold in the coming months as a result.

Any such development would reportedly be enough to pique the interest of both Spurs and Chelsea, with the two clubs seemingly keen to bring Raphinha back to England in the near future. The South American is said to have cost Barca around £50 million when he arrived in Catalonia back in 2022.

The 3AM Verdict: If the price was right, this could be a really good acquisition for either Spurs or Chelsea. You could perhaps argue that both are fairly well stocked in wide areas already, but Raphinha is a special talent on his day, and any opportunity to welcome him back to the Premier League would surely be met with enthusiasm.

West Ham set Luizao price

Elsewhere, West Ham have reportedly named their price ahead of the possible exit of defender Luizao. According to Brazilian publication IG, the Hammers will demand anywhere up to £4.3 million for the player, who has been attracting interest from South American clubs in recent days.

It is understood that West Ham are reluctant to let him leave on loan, however, and as such, the 21-year-old will stay in East London unless their valuation is met. Luizao was signed on a free transfer in January of last year, and has a contract that runs until 2026, but is still yet to make his senior debut for the Irons, and has spent much of his first year in England working with the development squad.

The 3AM Verdict: This is an interesting one. It is almost as if West Ham don't see a future for Luizao at the club, but still value him highly enough to drive away any realistic suitors for his signature. Only time will tell how this one pans out, but for now, the defender is likely to be stuck in a state of reserve team limbo.

City lead Camarda race

And finally, Manchester City are said to be ‘in the lead’ in the race to sign AC Milan starlet Francesco Camarda. The 15-year-old holds the record for the youngest debut in Serie A history, and is understood to be attracting attention from around Europe as his current employers look to ensure that he stays at the San Siro for the foreseeable future.

According to Calciomercato, the Rossoneri have a ‘clear project’ to hand the teenager a professional contract once he turns 16, as the expectations surrounding a possible exit have ‘grown exponentially’. With that in mind, City are understood to be his most likely destination if he does leave.

The 3AM Verdict: It is no real surprise that Camarda is already garnering attention from among the European elite, given the precocious talent he has shown at such a remarkably early age. That being said, it is for those exact reasons that Milan will be so eager to keep hold of him too, and to that end, you would probably expect him to pen a professional deal and stay in Italy for a while longer.
