Welcome to today’s run-through of the latest new Premier League transfer rumours. Clubs have the chance to bolster their ranks between now and the end of the January window.
Firstly, Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi is wanted back by Chelsea, according to The Mirror. However, a deal could hit a ‘snag’ over wages and the Blues may have to wait until the summer to get their man.

Hide AdGuehi, who is 24-years-old, rose up through the academy ranks at Stamford Bridge and went on to play two matches for the Blues before being loaned out to Swansea City twice to get some experience under his belt. The Eagles signed him in 2021 and he has since become one of their most prized assets.
The England international is facing an uncertain future at Selhurst Park though. He has made 137 appearances in all competitions since his transfer to South London and has scored seven goals.
The 3am Verdict: It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Marc Guehi end up back at Chelsea at some point. Crystal Palace won’t want to lose him mid-way through a season though. It is inevitable that he will leave Selhurst Park at some point in the near future. In terms of his wage demands, the Blues may need to fork out a bit more money to land him.
Leicester City striker Tom Cannon wanted
According to reporter Alan Nixon on his Patreon page, Leicester City striker Tom Cannon is wanted by Sheffield United and Sunderland, as well as Sheffield Wednesday and Luton Town. He is currently on loan at Stoke City in the Championship but it is yet to be known whether he will be sticking around in Staffordshire.

Cannon helped his parent club win promotion to the top flight last year along with Ipswich Town and Southampton. He rose up through the academy ranks at Everton.
The 3am Verdict: Leicester City have a big decision to make on what to do with Tom Cannon. His chances of regular football in the Premier League are slim. He has been in fine form for Stoke City over recent times and it would be a massive blow for them to lose him. If Sheffield United or Sunderland got him, it would be a big statement of intent as they both look to go up.
Manchester City’s Kyle Walker asks to leave
Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker has asked to ‘leave’, Pep Guardiola has confirmed. His manager has said: "Two days ago, Kyle asked to explore the options to play abroad at the end of his career. In his [Walker's] mind, he would like to explore it, to go to another country, to play the last years [somewhere else] for many reasons. For that reason, I prefer playing other players whose mind is here."

If he went to Saudi Arabia, he would receive massive life-changing money and a chance to taste football in a new country and culture.
