The Reds could be in for a busy summer of transfer activity under their new manager.

The end of one era, the beginning of another. On Sunday afternoon, Liverpool bid farewell to Jurgen Klopp after nine trophy-laden years at the club. There was, understandably, barely a dry eye on the Kop.

In amongst the emotional farewells, however, the beaming German took it upon himself to reveal that his successor, as many have assumed for some time now, will be departing Feyenoord boss Arne Slot. The Dutchman will take over from Klopp this summer, and upon his arrival, you would imagine that the dressing room at Anfield will be in for something of a rejig.

With that in mind, we’ve taken a look at the latest transfer rumours to mull over how Liverpool could line up under their new boss next season. Take a closer look at our XI below...

Alisson Becker

The Brazilian number one remains one of, if not the best, goalkeeper in the entirety of the Premier League, and the prospect of him leaving any time soon feels almost unthinkable.

Trent Alexander-Arnold

Alexander-Arnold is likely to face increased competition from emerging teammate Conor Bradley over the coming seasons, but for now, he remains Liverpool’s first choice option at right-back.

Virgil van Dijk

Van Dijk looked back to his imperious best throughout much of the 2023/34 campaign, and Slot will no doubt be eager to build his defensive line around the towering Dutchman.

Lutsharel Geertruida

A key component in Slot’s Feyenoord side, Geertruida has featured 47 times across all competitions this season, and is capable of playing at full-back, centre-half, or in defensive midfield. Already, there are persistent rumours linking him with a move to Anfield.

Andy Robertson

A real general of the Klopp era, Robertson is likely to continue in his role at left-back for the foreseeable future, barring some seismic shift at Anfield.

Kephren Thuram

Thuram is a long-term target for Liverpool, and could be available for as little as £13 million this summer, if reports are to be believed. An energetic central midfielder who oozes quality, he would surely represent a good signing for the Reds.

Alexis Mac Allister

Mac Allister will be hoping to build on a really decent debut campaign on Merseyside with a similarly positive year next time around. Expect Slot to model his midfield around the Argentine.

Dani Olmo

Another prospective acquisition, reports in recent days have suggested that Slot is eager to bring Olmo to England this summer. The creative talent is also said to be on the radar of Newcastle United and a wealth of continental heavyweights, but Liverpool are understood to be in amongst the chasing pack for his signature.

Mo Salah

Every summer, there are nerve-jangling reports that suggest Salah could finally be on his way out of Anfield. Until that happens, however, all Liverpool fans can do is be thankful that the Egyptian King continues to be a devastating attacking force in the Premier League.

Victor Osimhen

Chances are that Liverpool will look to dip into the market for a new striker this summer. Osimhen may be an aspirational target, but his name continues to be mentioned in relation to the Reds, and if they were to bring him in, it would represent one of the coups of the transfer window.

Anthony Gordon

And finally, a shock link, but one that might have legs nonetheless. Gordon continues to thrive for Newcastle United, but could be sold if the Magpies need a way of balancing the books. As a lifelong Kopite, presumably a move to Anfield would be very tempting for the England international.
