Gimenez price

Arsenal and others have been told how much they will need to pay to sign Santiago Gimenez in the coming months. The Gunners could be in the market for a frontman in the winter window amid a shortage of strikers, as highlighted by Gabriel Jesus' fresh injury blow.

But Feyenoord frontman Gimenez is likely to be on their list after the Dutch side slapped on a huge price tag worth £87million , according to 90min, which would be an Eredivisie record. Gimenez The 22-year-old Argentine has scored 28 times in 41 league games so far. Tottenham and Real Madrid are also said to be interested.

The 3AM verdict: This one seems out of Arsenal's reach after a summer during which they spent well over £200million. Not only is there a giant price tag, but Arsenal will also feel they can sign a more proven striker for the same price or cheaper. Tottenham may be able to do a deal with their Harry Kane money, although they have already spent some on the likes of Brennan Johnson, and this still feels overly pricey.

Yoro interest

Manchester United and Liverpool are said to be interested in a deal for Lille star Leny Yoro. According to Fichajes, the 17-year-old defender is already attracting plenty of attention from the Premier League, with Chelsea also keeping an eye. Yoro is also said to be attracting interested between Barcelona and Real Madrid. The youngster has already made 18 league appearances for Lille at senior level, and he is a two-time France under-21 international.

The 3AM verdict: The number of teams interested makes this link feel a little ropey, but there's no doubting Yoro's talent, especially given his youth. Liverpool and Man Utd could both do with more defensive depth, but will they take a chance on such a young player? Both are likely to sign players who are ready to feature now in the January window.

Mudryk confidence

Chelsea are still said to be firmly behind Mykhaylo Mudryk despite his tricky start to life at Stamford Bridge. The Winger has struggled for form since his big-money arrival, although he has picked up a little of late.

"It was never the case that Chelsea would let the player leave in the summer or in any other moment," CaughtOffside columnist, Fabrizio Romano, wrote in his exclusive Daily Briefing.

"They trusted Mudryk then, they still trust him now and Chelsea think that we are still not saying the best of him. It will take time of course but the club believe he is going to be a big star in the future."

The 3AM verdict: This shoulld come as no surprise given it was always going to take Mudryk a little time to get acclimated to a new league and country, especially being so young. Wingers' form is also highly based on confidence, and that's tough to get in an often out of form team. Chelsea are now starting to look better, though, and so is Mudryk.
