Hide AdWales fans sing about sheep
One of the strange moments in the game was Wales fans singing an infamous song about sheep. Draw your own conclusions. Their team had started very well and their voice was in a good place. The choice of song surprised most of the people in the press room. To be fair they never went back to it once they went a goal down and the game took a different direction.
Fifa president Infantino booed
One of the highlights of the night was seeing fans boo Fifa president Gianni Infantino who was shown on the giant screens in the stadium momentarily as the ball went out. The English fans instantly booed him before he was swiftly taken off and action continued.
English fans are quite upset with the Fifa boss for a lot of reasons including his decision to ban alcohol from the stadiums at the last minute, agreeing with the laws of Qatar. He is also not liked for being behind the decision denying captains the right to wear the rainbow coloured armed bans. Not a popular man in Qatar.
England fans sing you’re going home in the morning
English fans enjoyed themselves at the expense of the misery Wales supporters were going through with most of them singing, 'you’re going home in the morning'.

Hide AdWales have picked up just one point from their three group games and up against it, needing a massive win, perhaps the biggest in their history and a favourable result in the other game if they were to qualify out of the group. In the end they were just taunted by the English fans as their World Cup campaign came crashing down.
Sherlock Holmes dressed fan
So many English fans stormed Qatar supporting their country and most of them dressed in the England team jersey but there were a few who were dressed just like Sherlock Holmes which was quite nice given it was different to what has been seen so far.
Big grin on Rashford’s face as he gets a standing ovation
Marcus Rashford was the man of the match and from the start, you could see the determination on his face. He was chasing every ball and deserved his free kick and stunning finish which capped the win.
He could not grab a hat trick though but did put up a big grin on his face as he hugged his manager Gareth Southgate who gave him the chance to start. His third goal already at the tournament, not bad for someone who was struggling with form last season.
