Manchester United returned to winning ways last weekend with a routine 2-0 win over struggling Everton at Old Trafford. The Red Devils benefited from a brace of first half penalties, scored by Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford, to take all three points for the first time in three matches. Erik ten Hag's man are now sixth in Premier League table, eight points adrift of the top four.

Next up for United is an FA Cup quarter-final clash against bitter rivals Liverpool on Sunday afternoon, with the winner booking a place at Wembley in the last four of the historic competition. For their part, Jurgen Klopp's men had to settle for a draw in their last outing - a pulsating sharing of the spoils with fellow Premier League title hopefuls Manchester City.

But if United are to see off Liverpool this weekend, they will have to do so without a number of key first team names. We've taken a look at their latest injury list, as well as any potential return dates where available, below...

Lisandro Martinez

Martinez suffered an injury to his medial collateral ligament in February, and is expected to be sidelined until early April, all being well. The Argentine has no chance of playing this weekend.

Luke Shaw

After sustaining yet another injury setback, Shaw is currently sidelined with a muscular issue. No concrete timeline for his rehabilitation has been given just yet, but the likelihood is that he will not feature again until the back end of the campaign, if at all.

Mason Mount

A frustrating debut campaign in Manchester will hopefully get itself back on track for Mount when he makes his return from a calf problem in the coming weeks. Speaking about the midfielder, Ten Hag said:  'I think he is in a good spell now, and he will return shortly. I think after the international break.'

Anthony Martial

Martial underwent groin surgery in January, and was initially given a predicted comeback date of late March. Whether he makes that deadline, however, remains to be seen.

Tyrell Malacia

Like Martial, Malacia is expected back in action by the end of this month. The long term knee injury he has been suffering from has led to a tricky rehabilitation process, but it would finally appear that the Dutchman is close to reaching full fitness.

Rasmus Hojlund

United's primary source of goals prior to a training ground injury, there is widespread optimism that Hojlund should be back in action this weekend.

Harry Maguire

Likewise, Maguire is expected to make his return to Ten Hag's match day squad on Sunday after overcoming an unspecified issue in the past few days.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

And finally, completing the trio of returning United players this weekend, Wan-Bissaka. Speaking about the anticipated reinforcements to his squad, Ten Hag said: 'Hopefully, some return [in the FA Cup]. Aaron Wan-Bissaka was, yesterday, on the pitch. We expect also Harry Maguire back in the squad next week. Rasmus Hojlund has good hope he will make it as well.'

Omari Forson

United's only other injury concern is young attacker Forson, who pulled out of last weekend's victory over Everton, and may not feature again on Sunday.
