Manchester United left it late to secure their spot in the quarter-final of the FA Cup on Wednesday night, but will have little time to bask in their dramatic win over Nottingham Forest as they prepare for an unenviable local derby against bitter rivals Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils had Casemiro to thank for his 89th minute intervention at the City Ground - a goal that sets up a last eight clash against Liverpool in mid-March. Until then, however, the focus is very much on mounting a push for the top four of the Premier League, starting with a trip to the Etihad this weekend.

But how will United line up against City? We've taken a look at their latest injury list, and any potential return dates where available, below...

Luke Shaw

Shaw is understood to be sidelined for a considerable while as he recovers from a thigh issue sustained earlier this month. An official statement from United reads: 'Luke has sustained a muscle injury and will be out for an extended period. Further assessment is still needed to determine the severity, but we expect him to be absent for a few months.' At this stage, it is unclear whether he will play again this season.

Rasmus Hojlund

Another big miss for United, Hojlund is not expected to recover from a muscular injury in time to face City, and could be out action until after next month's international break. Speaking about the Dane, Erik ten Hag said: 'It is a small injury, two to three weeks. That is what happens and the risk [when you are] playing at high intensity, training. As I say, it is not a big injury, but he has to wait for one, two, three weeks.'

Anthony Martial

Like Hojlund, Martial is not expected to be ready for first team action until March at the earliest. The Frenchman is recovering from groin surgery, and could be sidelined until the back end of next month.

Mason Mount

Mount has endured a torrid first season at Old Trafford, and is currently ruled out due to an ongoing calf problem. His comeback may have to wait until after the aforementioned international break.

Tyrell Malacia

It was thought that Malacia was rapidly closing in on a comeback, but according to his manager, the Dutch defender has had to be patient after suffering a series of disruptions in his recovery. Ten Hag said: 'He had setbacks during his rehab process. It takes too long; it's bad for him. Bad for us. But now we've turned a point, and it's positive - he will return soon on the pitch. I don't think then it will take long before he's returning in the team training.'

Lisandro Martinez

Martinez sustained an injury to the medial collateral ligament in his knee recently, and is expected to be out of action for around eight weeks. All being well, he should be back in contention by early April.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Yet another defensive injury for United, Wan-Bissaka joins the list of first team players who may not be seen again before next month's international break.

Harry Maguire

Maguire was ruled out of the midweek win over Nottingham Forest, but there is a simmering sense of optimism that he could be back in time for the Manchester derby on Sunday. Nothing is concrete, but he stands a much better chance of featuring than most on this list.
