The golden Man United and Brentford player exchange transfer that could see blockbuster signing completed
Manchester United are looking to add more quality to their ranks this summer with some new faces. They under-performed last season and finished down in 15th place in the Premier League table. The Red Devils also lost in the Europa League final to league rivals Tottenham Hotspur in Bilbao.
Ruben Amorim was picked as their replacement for Erik ten Hag midway through the last campaign. Prior to his move to England, he caught the eye in Portugal at Sporting Lisbon. It has been a mixed spell for him at Old Trafford so far and he will be under pressure to get results from the off next term.

Hide AdMan Utd determined to sign Brentford attacker Bryan Mbeumo
United are long-term admirers of Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo and are trying to sign him this summer, as per a report by the Evening Standard. He would give them more competition and depth in attacking areas if he joined. The forward would also offer the North West outfit something different going forward.
Mbeumo, 25, has been on the books of his current club since joining them back in 2019 but they face a real battle to keep hold of him in this window. Prior to his move to England, he caught the eye in France in Ligue 2 playing for Troyes. Not many knew much about him when he signed for the Bees six years ago but he has since become their most valuable asset.
The Cameroon international, who has 22 caps under his belt, helped Brentford gain promotion from the Championship in his second year under the guidance of Thomas Frank, who has recently replaced Ange Postecoglou at Spurs. He has since adapted well to life in the top flight. In fact, he has arguably become one of the best players in his position in the division.
Mbeumo is a proven goal scorer and has fired 70 goals in 242 outings for the London club so far, 20 of which came last season. He is a real threat cutting in on his lethal left foot from the right and his pace and power causes serious problems to opposition defenders. If United landed him, it would be a big statement of intent and would show that they mean business.

Hide AdManchester United should use Tyrell Malacia in Brentford swap deal for Bryan Mbeumo
Brentford will be desperate to keep hold of Mbeumo at all costs amid attention from elsewhere. There is an air of inevitability that he will be moving on for a new challenge though. The Bees will try and squeeze as much money as possible out of his next club.
In an attempt to try and tempt the Bees into selling to them, United should offer them a player in return plus cash for his services. Step forward Tyrell Malacia, who could do with a change of scene ahead of the 2025/26 campaign. He isn’t guaranteed regular game time where he is and should try and leave for the sake of his career.
The 25-year-old would be a useful addition for Brentford and would boost their defensive department. Keith Andrews has been named as the new head coach at the Brentford Community Stadium and will want to put his own stamp on his newly inherited squad. He has big shoes to fill as he looks to build on the impressive work that Frank did before him.
Malacia, who has played nine times for Holland so far, was loaned out to PSV last January. He was given the green light to link up with the Eredivisie outfit on a temporary basis last winter to get some minutes. The full-back played 12 games for the Rotterdam club to help build up his fitness and put himself in the shop window.

Hide AdThe ex-Feyenoord man signed for United back in 2022 after catching the eye in his native country. He has since featured on 47 occasions but has struggled with injuries. It is unlikely that he will ever break into Amorim’s starting XI so if they can offload him permanently, it would probably suit all parties involved.
