Manchester United are crying out for some more quality in their ranks next season. They have under-performed in the Premier League again in this campaign and find themselves in the bottom half. Nevertheless, they could still win a trophy as they have one foot in the Europa League final after they beat Athletic Bilbao in the first leg of their semi-finals clash last week.
The Red Devils turned to Ruben Amorim as their head coach this past winter. He was picked as their replacement for Erik ten Hag. Prior to his switch to England, he caught the eye in Portugal at Sporting Lisbon and it has been a mixed spell for him at Old Trafford so far.

United could do with some more attacking firepower and they have been linked with Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo. According to The Telegraph, they are keen on landing the France-born man ahead of the upcoming transfer window. The report adds that the player is valued at around the £60 million mark.
Mbeumo, 25, would boost the Red Devils’ option going forward and would be an exciting addition. He is someone who likes to cut in on his left foot from the right and he is a proven goal scorer in the top flight. The Cameroon international, who has 22 caps to his name, has scored 18 goals this term.
The Bees will face a real battle to keep hold of him amid attention from elsewhere. He joined them back in 2019 as an unknown quantity and helped them get promoted from the Championship a couple of years later. The former Troyes man has since adapted with ease with the step up a division.
United need to think outside the box with their recruitment over the next few months and Mbeumo would be ideal. In addition, if they win the Europa League they will get into the Champions League. That will surely boost their hopes of landing some key targets.

Hide AdManchester United set sights on Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap
United are also interested in Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap, The Mirror have claimed, along with the likes of Chelsea and Ipswich Town. He has a release clause of £30 million which would be a bargain. The Tractor Boys have been relegated to the Championship and will almost definitely lose him in the near future.
The 22-year-old is destined for bigger things down the line and landing him would be a shrewd bit of business by the Red Devils. His pace and power has caused real problems to opposition defenders over the past few months. He is still young and has bags of potential.
Delap joined Manchester City as a teenager from Derby County and went on to play six times for the first-team at the Etihad Stadium. He had two tough loan spells away at Stoke City and Preston North End in the second tier to get some experience under his belt. The England youth international then spent time at Hull City and found his shooting boots with the Tigers, finding the net on eight occasions to earn a move to Ipswich.
He hasn’t looked back since moving to Portman Road and he is a man in-demand now. The race is on to secure his services and there is no reason why United can’t try and jump to the front of the queue. If he was signed, that could pave the way for Rasmus Hojlund to move on.
