Jesse Lingard has admitted he is open to all options after he left Nottingham Forest last week.

The former Manchester United star scored just two goals and provided two assists in 20 appearances in all competitions during a one-season stay at the City Ground but is now on the hunt for a new club after his contract came to an end. Lingard revealed he would be willing to discuss a move to Saudi Arabia after he was linked with a number of Pro League clubs and he was recently pictured currently keeping fit at MLS club Inter Miami, the new home of Argentina and Barcelona legend Lionel Messi. Could a Lingard-Messi combination be on the cards for David Beckham’s side?

The 3AM verdict: Lingard will be desperate to reignite a career that promised so much but waned ever since a successful loan spell at West Ham United. A move to Nottingham Forest felt a strange decision last summer given he had interest from elsewhere and he really needs to make the most of what comes next. Although there is no indication of a move to the MLS being in the offing, it could given Lingard a platform to shine and enjoy something of a renaissance Stateside.

Everton eye move for La Liga winger

Everton are reportedly considering revisiting their interest in Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma - according to the Daily Mail.

Just five months have passed since the Netherlands international looked on the brink of a similar move to Goodison Park before he opted to join Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur instead. After scoring just two goals in 12 appearances for Spurs, Danjuma has now returned to the La Liga club but he could be handed another chance to shine in the Premier League by the Toffees after the report revealed there is ‘no bad blood’ between the two parties, despite his transfer snub in January.

The 3AM verdict: Danjuma failed to hit the heights during a largely underwhelming loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur during the second half of last season but there is absolutely no questioning his talent. A return of 22 goals and four assists in 51 appearances for Villarreal shows what he can offer and he would be a smart addition for Sean Dyche if he can get a deal done.

Philippe Coutinho’s time at Aston Villa is said to be coming to a close after the former Barcelona and Liverpool star reportedly opened talks over a loan move to Turkish club Besiktas.

There were high hopes the Brazil international could build on an impressive loan spell at Villa Park when he signed a permanent deal last summer - but just one goal in 22 appearances in all competitions meant the 31-year-old failed to impress during what could become his first and only full season with the club.

Spanish outlet Sport.ES have now reported the attacking midfielder is in talks with Besiktas over a one-year loan deal with an £8m option to convert the move into a permanent switch. The deal would reportedly see Villa pay 60 percent of Coutinho’s wages to ensure an agreement is found.

The 3AM Verdict: There was much excitement when Coutinho became a permanent member of the Villa squad last summer but it has been a disappointing year for all parties. A parting of the ways seems almost inevitable, no matter how it comes to pass.
