As always, the festive fixtures will be labelled as a 'crucial period' in the Premier League season - but for supporters, they are something to embrace with big games coming thick and fast.
For Newcastle United supporters, that has usually meant away days at the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United - although the St. James' Park faithful have occasionally been able to roar on their side in rare Boxing Day home fixtures throughout the years.
