Trippier, Pope, and Barnes: Newcastle United injury list & expected return dates ahead of West Ham clash
and live on Freeview channel 276
Newcastle United return to Premier League action with a tricky clash against West Ham on Saturday lunchtime. The Magpies come off the back of the international break marooned in mid-table, but could move up to eighth with a win over the Hammers this weekend.
For their part, David Moyes' men will be looking to extend their advantage over Newcastle to seven points, and will be looking to extend their winning run in the league to five matches. The Irons have, however, drawn their last two outings, and were pegged back by Aston Villa in their most recent top flight encounter.

Sven Botman
Botman looks set for a lengthy stint on the sidelines following surgery on a knee injury that he picked up during the recent FA Cup defeat to Manchester City. Explaining the Dutchman's situation, manager Eddie Howe said: 'Sven will undergo surgery next week after suffering a knee injury vs Man City. A scan has confirmed that he sustained an injury to his ACL, and he is expected to return within 6-9 months.'
Sandro Tonali
The Italian midfielder is still sidelined as a consequence of a ban for betting-related offences. Tonali should be available for selection again by the end of August.
Lewis Miley
The teenager has been one of the breakout success stories of the Premier League season, but is expected to be out until May with a lower back issue.

Wilson underwent surgery on a pectoral injury in February, and it remains to be seen whether he will play again this term. May could be a realistic return date, but nothing is concrete at this stage.
Joelinton
Sidelined since the Tyne-Wear Derby win over Sunderland in January, the Brazilian is another who has been under the knife, and who may have to wait until May before he is ready to play again.
Nick Pope
Newcastle's number one has been out of action since late last year, but Howe has suggested that it may not be too much longer before he is ready to feature again. The Toon boss said: 'April is his target. I think that will be more towards the end of [the month] than the beginning, but he's making good, solid progress. He's out on the grass but not necessarily diving. That will be a big test for his shoulder, and it's the next stage.'
Kieran Trippier
Trippier was absent from England's squad for the friendly double-header against Brazil and Belgium, but could be okay to make his comeback against West Ham on Saturday. Howe said: 'A minor injury, but the scan showed enough to probably keep him out for the next two games. Hopefully, he'll be back for the first game after the break but that's not absolutely guaranteed.'

The winger has endured a disrupted season, and has been limited to just 11 Premier League appearances due to injury. The expectation is that he should be fit enough to feature in some capacity against West Ham, though.
Tino Livramento
And finally, Livramento should be able to make his comeback from a minor ankle issue on Saturday. Speaking a couple of weeks ago, Howe said: 'It was a twist of the ankle against Chelsea. We knew the day after the game that he wasn't going to make this weekend. We don't think it's serious, and we hope he'll be back for the next match.'
