Newcastle United are back in action on Saturday afternoon, taking on a written off Sheffield United side that is stuck on the bottom of the Premier League table. The Magpies were handed a a big blow in their top six chase during the week, losing to Crystal Palace, and they now sit three points behind Manchester United in sixth.

Eddie Howe’s men have a big chance of picking up three points this weekend, though, and if they want to finish in sixth spot, they cannot afford to pick up anything less than three points against a Blades side that will be relegated with a defeat. Here we take a look at the team news surrounding both teams and the predicted starting XIs.
