Newcastle United latest team news
The main positive for Newcastle is the return of key defender Fabian Schar after he completed a three-match ban for the controversial red card he received in the opening day win against Southampton. The former Swiss international was dismissed for a coming together with Saints striker Ben Brereton-Diaz and has missed Premier League fixtures against Bournemouth and Tottenham Hotspur and the Carabao Cup win at Nottingham Forest. Long-term injury victims Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles are not expected to return until December at the earliest and young midfielder Lewis Miley is just over a month away from returning from an ankle injury.
