All of the latest Premier League transfer news, including Man Utd, Spurs, and Liverpool

We begin Thursday’s Premier League transfer rumour roundup with news of Manchester United. According to Marca, the Red Devils have tabled an ‘above market’ offer to sign Lille starlet Leny Yoro, who is also of interest to Champions League winners Real Madrid. The centre-back is a highly-rated talent despite being just 18 years of age, and has racked up 44 appearances across all competitions this season.

Indeed, his performances have been enough to catch the eye of several elite European clubs, but United are looking to steal a march on their transfer rivals by going above and beyond to secure his signature. While no specific figure is detailed, it is understood that their bid stands at ‘close to £51 million’.

The 3AM Verdict: Yoro is a massive talent with a high ceiling of potential, and whoever wins the race for his services could be securing themselves a world-beating centre-back for years to come. United’s ambition is admirable, but the concern will be that if Real decide to flex their financial muscle, the Red Devils could end up in a bidding war that they could well do without.

Spurs in for En-Nesyri

Elsewhere, Tottenham are understood to be in contention to sign Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri. The Moroccan has been heavily linked with an exit this summer, and according to Vamos Mi Sevilla FC could be on his way to North London in the near future.

Sevilla need to sell to balance their books before the end of the month, and may have found a ‘last-minute ally’ in the form of Spurs. Ange Postecoglou’s men would be willing to pay around £21.3 million for the 27-year-old, and talks are said to be at an ‘advanced’ stage. Moreover, En-Nesyri himself ‘would agree to leave’ Spain for Tottenham if an agreement can be reached.

The 3AM Verdict: This news will come as a hammer blow, no pun intended, to West Ham, who have been frequently touted as admirers of En-Nesyri in recent times. If this report is to be believed, they could be scuppered by Tottenham, however, and for their part, Spurs would be securing for themselves a prolific striker in the prime of his career.

Liverpool eye new goalkeeper

And finally, Liverpool have reportedly shown interest in signing AC Monza goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio, according to Tuttosport. The Reds could face a battle to keep current number one Alisson Becker this summer, with a number of Saudi Arabian clubs supposedly interested in the Brazilian.

With a departure possible, it is claimed that the Premier League giants have tried to hijack Juventus’ anticipated swoop for Di Gregorio by making a ‘very rich offer’ to both the 26-year-old and Monza. Their bid is understood to eclipse the one proposed by Juve.

The 3AM Verdict: Obviously, in an ideal world there would be no need for Liverpool to sign a new first choice goalkeeper this summer, but while the threat of the Saudi Pro League looms large, it is wise for the Reds to keep options in reserve. This could be one to keep an eye on.
