West Ham delved into the January window to bring in striker Evan Ferguson on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion. They also saw James Ward-Prowse return from his temporary spell at Nottingham Forest.
The Hammers cut ties with Maxwel Cornet, who went to Genoa. Graham Potter was picked as their replacement for Julen Lopetegui and is still getting to grips with life at the London Stadium.

AI predicts the players West Ham will sign this winter
Goncalo Ramos (PSG): West Ham could do with bolstering their attacking ranks and Ramos would be an eye-catching deal. AI has predicted that he may end up in London later this year in a deal that would be a statement of intent. He has scored six goals in 15 games so far this season for PSG. If he joined the Hammers, it would be his first taste of English football.
Pervis Estupinan (Brighton): Potter will know all about the left-back from their time at Brighton and a reunion would be interesting. He joined the Seagulls in 2022 from Villarreal and he has been a key player since his switch to the AMEX Stadium. They could face a battle to keep hold of him in the future.
Harvey Barnes (Newcastle United): His move to Newcastle United hasn’t quite gone to plan from Leicester City and he has struggled to make the impact he would have wanted to in the North East. A change of scene would do him good and he wouldn’t be a bad addition for West Ham. If Potter could get the best out of him, he might be a shrewd addition and probably wouldn't break the bank too much either.

Michail Antonio: He was involved in a car crash last year and his immediate focus will be on his recovery. He has been a great servant to West Ham over recent times but there are obviously doubts over his long-term future. AI has tipped him for an exit down the line but it remains to be seen where he could potentially end up next.
Vladimir Coufal: At the age of 32, he injects experience into the Hammers’ ranks but there are younger alternatives out there. He joined his current club in 2020 from Slavia Prague and arrived in England as a bit of an unknown quantity. The full-back has since played 171 games, 16 of which have come this term.
Danny Ings: AI has tipped the striker to head out the exit door and it wouldn’t be a surprise. He mainly provides depth and although he does offer good competition up top, Potter may want to bring in more of his own type of players. In addition, he is a boss who tends to give youngsters the chance to show what they can do and develop which means the likes of Antonio, Coufal and Ings may well fall victim.
