Confidence is understandably high at West Ham United as they make the short trip across the capital to face Fulham in the last of three consecutive London derbies.

David Moyes’ men kicked off their trio of capital clashes with a 1-1 home draw against Crystal Palace last weekend before coming from behind to earn all three points in Thursday night’s 2-1 win at Tottenham Hotspur.

The results mean the Hammers could move as high as sixth in the table if they secure another win at Craven Cottage and results elsewhere go their way. However, they will face a Cottagers side that are also on a high after braces from Raul Jimenez and Alex Iwobi and a Tom Cairney strike helped them to a 5-0 demolition of Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night.

There are some injury concerns for David Moyes ahead of Sunday’s game - but he has already revealed he has full confidence in two players that have stepped up to great effect recently.

West Ham United Team News

The big news for West Ham is the expected absence of Michail Antonio as he looks set to miss a fourth consecutive Premier League fixture with a knee injury.

The 12-times capped Jamaica international has not appeared since he came on as a substitute in the 3-2 home win against Nottingham Forest last and he is expected to be out of action for at least another week.

The news Antonio will miss out once again means Jarrod Bowen will be pressed into action in the lead role in attack once again - and the England international was the subject of praise from his manager ahead of the game.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Moyes said: “He (Bowen) can play the centre-forward position as well. Jarrod has always scored goals. He’s scored a lot of goals coming off wide areas, but I think he has showed he can play centrally as well. There are games we will play him wide and there are games where we will play him as a centre-forward.”

There is also a doubt over the fitness of goalkeeper Alphonse Areola after he missed the win at Spurs with a wrist injury he picked up in training. That could hand another opportunity to Lukasz Fabianski after he produced a solid display against Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Speaking of the former Arsenal stopper, Moyes explained: “Lukasz Fabianski is a superb goalkeeper and has been for years and years here. I wasn’t surprised at how well he played and how comfortable he was coming in. He was excellent, he really was.”

West Ham United Predicted XI
