Welcome to today’s run-through of the latest new Premier League transfer rumours. Clubs have the chance to bolster their ranks between now and the end of the January window.
Firstly, Nottingham Forest are keen on landing Galatasaray attacker Baris Yilmaz this winter but in this latest update regarding the Reds’ pursuit of him, Turkish news outlet Fotospor claim his current club have no plans to let him leave this month. Serie A side Lazio have also been credited with an interest.

Hide AdYilmaz, who is said to be valued at around £25m, has made 24 caps for Turkey and caught the eye at Euro 2024 last year in Germany. He has scored 22 goals in 136 games since making the switch to Istanbul.
Prior to joining Galatasaray, he had spells at Ankara Demirspor and Ankara Keçiörengücü. He is under contract until the summer of 2027.
The 3am Verdict: Nottingham Forest have been flying high at the top end of the Premier League table this season and Yilmaz would add more depth to their attacking department. However, if Galatasaray don’t want to sell or are demanding too much money then they should move on to other targets. After all, he has never played in the Premier League before and may take time to adapt if he came to the City Ground.
AFC Bournemouth target Elye Wahi
AFC Bournemouth are keen on Marseille forward Elye Wahi, according to L’Equipe. West Ham have also been mentioned as a potential suitor for the Ligue 1 ace.

Wahi has been on the books at Montpellier and Lens in the past and his future in France is up in the air right now amid links to English teams. Bournemouth won 4-1 away at Newcastle United over the weekend and are on a roll right now.
The 3am Verdict: AFC Bournemouth are doing incredibly well at the moment and their recruitment has been spot on over recent times. Elye Wahi is someone who would give them something different at the top end of the pitch which would come in handy. It hasn’t worked out for him at Marseille for whatever reason and he may feel that he has a point to prove now. He is also still young and has potential.
Brighton to make Evan Ferguson decision
West Ham and Bournemouth are among the teams waiting to see whether Brighton and Hove Albion will loan out striker Evan Ferguson, as per the Express. The Seagulls are mulling over what to do with the youngster between now and the deadline.

The 3am Verdict: Evan Ferguson needs to be getting as much game time as possible at this stage of his career. He would be a shrewd loan addition for either West Ham or Bournemouth and would boost their frontline. Letting him go would be a sensible decision by Brighton and they can then evaluate his situation in the summer again.
