Leaks of Nottingham Forest’s home and away kits for the 2025/26 season seem to have been corroborated by new information.

Recent leaks of Nottingham Forest’s home and away kits for next season appear to have been corroborated with new information online, including pictures of a pair of brand new Adidas trainers which seem to confirm the veracity of images shared in March.

Footy Headlines have acquired images of a new range of Adidas Samba trainers which incorporate the same modified version of the Nottingham Forest badge which appears on existing leaked pictures of Forest’s shirts for the 2025/26 season.

That suggests that the original photographs were real – and we now know how Nuno Espirito Santo’s side will look as they compete for European glory in the coming campaign.

Nottingham Forest’s new home and away shirts revealed ahead of 2025/26 season

The leaked photos, shown above, were previously uncorroborated but now appear likely to be accurate, given the tweaked club crest which features a shield design not seen since the 1993/94 season. With the same design appearing on new Nottingham Forest sneakers from kit manufacturer Adidas, it looks very likely that the pinstripe design of the ‘leaked’ home shirt, with white stripes down the neck and sleeves, is legitimate.

It will be the first time that Forest have gone back to a pinstripe shirt since the 2017/18 season, when they were still in the Championship. Pinstripes had previously been a feature of the club’s kits in the early Nineties, giving the new jersey something of a throwback feel.

It would also appear to corroborate the away kit, a plain white affair which features a lace pattern which apparently celebrates Nottingham’s historic ties to the lace-making industry.

The away shirt also features plain black versions of the Adidas logo and the more usual club badge without the shield. It isn’t yet clear when the new kits will be released, but it seems likely that they will not be worn until the start of the 2025/26 season, with no apparent plans for an early release to allow the new shirts to feature in the current campaign as it heads towards a tense conclusion.

Will Forest wear the new shirts in the Champions League?

The real question now is whether Forest will be wearing their new kits in the Champions League next season – after a superb season, Forest go into their final three matches needing to make up a two-point deficit on Chelsea or Newcastle United to make the top five and play in Europe’s biggest competition next season.

Santo’s side will also have to stave off the threat of Aston Villa, who are breathing down their neck in seventh place. Should Forest finish outside the top five, they need just one more point to mathematically guarantee some form of European football in the 2025/26 season, although it could be no more than a spot in the Europa Conference League depending on the outcome of various cup competitions.

Whichever competition they’re in, Forest seem set to feature in their first continental campaign since a run to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup in 1995/96, when they were beaten by Bayern Munich 7-2 on aggregate. Either way, their classic home shirt and stylish new away jersey should give them some nice threads as they battle their way through a European campaign for the first time in 30 years.
