Brighton and Hove Albion will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League to five matches when they Luton Town away from home on Tuesday evening. The Seagulls have won one and drawn three of their past four outings, and currently sit seventh in the table, eight points adrift of the top four.

On Saturday afternoon, Roberto de Zerbi's men booked their place in the last 16 of the FA Cup in thrilling fashion, seeing off Sheffield United in a 5-2 rout. They will now play Wolves for a place in the quarter-final.

For their part, Luton ousted Everton from the competition over the weekend, and have been rewarded for their good work with an unenviable clash against holders Manchester City in the next round. In the Premier League, the Hatters are currently 18th in the table, one point off safety, but with a game in hand on several of the sides around them.

But how will they and Brighton line up when the two sides meet on Tuesday? We've taken a look at the latest team news and predicted XIs below...

Brighton Team News

Brighton are expected to be without as many as six first team players for their trip to Kenilworth Road. Solly March is a long term absentee due to the serious knee injury sustained earlier in the season, and may not feature again this term. Elsewhere, Joel Veltman and Julio Enciso are also sidelined with knee complaints, with both players expected back next month.

Meanwhile, Barcelona loanee Ansu Fati is nearing a comeback from a thigh problem, but is unlikely to be ready in time to face Luton in midweek. Speaking about the player back in early December, De Zerbi said: 'The news about Ansu is I think he needs three months from the day of injury. It is bad news for us because he was playing better; he was understanding.'

Albion's only other personnel concerns are Kaoru Mitoma and Simon Adingra, who are currently away on international duty with Japan and the Ivory Coast at the Asian Cup and the African Cup of Nations respectively.

Brighton Predicted XI

Jason Steele; Lewis Dunk, Jan Paul van Hecke, Igor Julio; Jack Hinshelwood, Pascal Groß, Billy Gilmour, Pervis Estupinan; Facundo Buonanotte Danny Welbeck, Joao Pedro.

Luton Town Team News

By comparison, Luton boast a relatively clean bill of health at the time of writing. Marvelous Nakamba is expected to be out for some time with a 'significant' knee injury, and like the aforementioned March, may not play again this season. In defence, Mads Andersen is recovering from a calf injury, and may have to wait until the weekend to make his return to first team action.

Following a second cardiac-related event in December, Tom Lockyear is undergoing a process of rehabilitation, and as yet, there is no concrete indication as to when the defender is expected to be available for selection once again.
