Celtic’s 2025 summer transfer signings predicted

Celtic have been predicted sign striker Evan Ferguson from Brighton and Hove Albion by AI, despite the fact he has a hefty £28 million price tag according to Football Insider. The 20-year-old, who is a Republic of Ireland international with 22 caps to his name, is facing an uncertain future at the AMEX Stadium.

Ferguson, who is from Drogheda, joined the Seagulls in 2021 as a youngster from Bohemians. He has since scored 17 goals in 80 games in all competitions. The forward was loaned out to West Ham last winter but struggled for form with the Hammers.

He could do with a change of scene and needs to go somewhere he is guaranteed regular action. Despite it feeling like he has been around for a while, he is still so young. There is no reason why he can’t go on and have a huge career in the game and he will be mulling over his next move.

The Hoops have been backed to snap up Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall by AI. He has struggled to get into the Blues’ team since his move from Leicester City 12 months ago. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see him head out the exit door for a new challenge away from London in the near future.

AI has also tipped Rodgers to swoop for Luton Town defender Teden Mengi following the Hatters’ relegation to League One. The centre-back could leave the Hatters as they look to reduce their wage bill after slipping into the third tier. He has been on the books at Manchester United in the past and could provide useful competition and cover for Cameron Carter-Vickers.

Who could leave Celtic this summer?

AI believes Daizen Maeda could leave Celtic over the next couple of months. They lost Kyogo Furuhashi to Rennes last January and will be praying that Maeda doesn’t go now as well. He has been a key player since making the switch to Scotland and his current club will be desperate to keep hold of him for as long as they can do.

Nicolas Kuhn has been predicted to leave the Hoops by AI as well which would be a major blow. The 25-year-old has been a hit since his arrival from Rapid Wien. He has played 69 matches to date and has found the net on 24 occasions, 21 of which came last term.

Luis Palma is another who may well cut ties with Celtic following his loan at Olympiacos. AI reckons his time there will be coming to an end soon, although it remains to be seen at this stage where he could potentially end up going next. The winger struggled for game time last term, hence why he was shipped out on a temporary basis in January to get more opportunities.

The Hoops will want to get their recruitment spot on as they look to stay ahead of Rangers. Their rivals have a new manager in Russell Martin and are under fresh ownership so could come back strong next term. Nevertheless, Rodgers will be confident that his team can claim top spot again, even if players are to leave.
