Branthwaite, Coleman, Broja: Everton injury news and return dates ahead of Leicester

The latest Everton injury news and estimated return dates ahead of the Leicester City game.

Everton have lost two games in a row, and the most worrying aspect is that in both matches, they took a two-goal lead but still managed to throw it away. There is mounting pressure on manager Sean Dyche, not necessarily just because of the team's performance, but also due to external factors.

David Moyes is currently without a job, and there are few people who know the club better than him, so there’s a growing need for Dyche to turn things around quickly lest the ex-Toffees favourite be parachuted back into the hot-seat.

Dyche has been dealing with several injuries and will be hoping for some relief as Everton prepares for their upcoming Premier League clash with Leicester City. Below is a list of the injured players and their potential return dates:

Nathan Patterson

A crucial defender who has been unavailable so far. His absence is a huge blow, as there’s no doubt he would have made a significant difference to the team. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem likely that he will be ready for the game this weekend. Most likely he’ll return after the next international break.

Armando Broja

Broja arrived from Chelsea with a major injury issue - the same ailment that caused Ipswich Town to pull out of signing him despite leading the race for his signature. Everton have managed to score goals without him, which is a positive, but they will be looking for more competition up front alongside Dominic Calvert-Lewin. He isn’t expected to return until next month.

Youssef Ramalho Chermiti

He suffered an ankle injury during pre-season and has since undergone surgery. There is no confirmed return date yet, but he’s likely to come back after the international break.

Seamus Coleman

Coleman has been dealing with calf and shin issues, but there’s good news. He’s back in training and is likely to be fit for the game against Leicester. His experience will be invaluable for the team at a time when they need it the most.

Jarrad Branthwaite

Branthwaite has been ruled out due to a hernia. He had surgery over the summer, and despite his injury concerns, Manchester United were reportedly interested in signing him. There’s no doubt he strengthens the team when he’s available, but it seems unlikely he’ll return before the international break. Everton desperately need him if they hope to climb the table, but this weekend will come too soon for him.
