Welcome to today’s run-through of the latest new Premier League transfer rumours. Today, we have got news from Manchester United, West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur.
Starting in the North West at Old Trafford, Football Insider report that Manchester United defender Harry Maguire is ‘attracting interest’ from some league rivals. The England international is out of contract at the end of the season and his long-term future is up in the air.

Hide AdMaguire joined the Red Devils in 2019 and has since played 217 games in all competitions, scoring 12 goals from the back. Prior to his move there, he had spells at Sheffield United, Hull City and Leicester City. Transfer expert Mick Brown has said: “There are Premier League clubs keeping a close eye on the situation. Any club who wants a solid and experienced leader and centre-back will be interested in Harry Maguire. He’s a huge threat from set-pieces, both defending and attacking them, and he’s good on the ball.
“He was England’s first-choice centre-back for years so he’s got so much experience. I was constantly on about him when I was at West Ham, but they made an offer of £20 million for him and it was quickly rejected. They’re still looking at singing a new centre-back now, so I’d expect that interest is still there. If United decide to let him go at the end of the season, there are clubs queuing up for his signature, so he won’t be short of options.”
The 3AM Verdict: Manchester United risk losing Harry Maguire for free if they don’t agree terms with him over an extension or sell him in January. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see him leave for a new challenge in the near future, but it remains to be seen at this stage who could be interested in him. In terms of the mention of West Ham, he would be an ideal addition for them if they were able to lure him to the London Stadium and they could do with someone like him to tighten up their defence.
Tottenham Hotspur man wanted
According to Spanish news outlet Super Deporte, Getafe are keen on landing Spurs left-back Sergio Reguilon. The La Liga are interested in luring the defender back to Spain next month as they look to boost their defensive ranks.

Hide AdReguilon, who is 27-years-old, has fallen down the pecking order at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and doesn’t much game time under Ange Postecoglou. He joined the London club back in 2020 from Real Madrid and has been loaned out to Atletico Madrid, Manchester United and Brentford to get game time over recent times.
The 3AM Verdict: A move back to Spain with Getafe makes sense for Reguilon. It would suit all parties involved if it happened. He would return home and have more of a chance of getting regular minutes under his belt. In addition, the La Liga side would be picking up a very shrewd signing and someone who would add more quality to their squad. Cutting ties with the full-back would also free up space and funds in Spurs’ ranks to pave the way for reinforcements themselves.
