Tottenham predicted line-up vs. Ipswich: six changes made with Richarlison among seven injury worries

Tottenham Hotspur will hope to record back-to-back Premier League wins for just the second time this season when they welcome relegation-threatened Ipswich Town to North London this Sunday – but Ange Postecoglou has a long list of potential injury concerns to worry about.
As many as seven players are either out or doubts, with Richarlison among those set to miss out after picking up a potentially serious hamstring injury during the emphatic 4-1 win over Aston Villa last weekend.

Goalkeeper & Defence
Spurs could have a significant problem at centre-back, with Micky van de Ven (hamstring) out until after the international break and Cristian Romero (toe) a doubt after missing the midweek defeat to Galatasaray. Postecoglou has at least suggested that the Argentina international has a good chance of playing this weekend but made it clear in his pre-match press conference that it was far from a certainty.
Radu Drăgușin is likely to start at centre-back as a result of the injuries despite a difficult outing against Victor Osimhen in midweek, while either Romero or Ben Davies will play alongside him. Djed Spence (groin) is also a doubt, although Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie were expected to start at full-back regardless.
Midfield
Postecoglou should at least enjoy the benefit of a clean bill of health in central midfield, although recent rotation makes it difficult to know who will start and whether Spurs will play with a double pivot or with the more aggressive set-up of James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski operating either side of a single defensive midfielder, as we recently saw against West Ham United.

Hide AdYves Bissouma was the only central midfielder to play the full 90 minutes in Istanbul, which implies that he is likely to miss out on selection, especially after Rodrigo Bentancur and Pape Matar Sarr were preferred for the Villa match last weekend. Maddison came off during the second half in the Europa League, which may hint that he is set for another start this weekend.
Forwards
There are plenty of injury problems on the wings, unfortunately. Richarlison’s latest hamstring injury is expected to keep him on the sidelines for around a month, while the other serious fitness concern hangs over summer signing Wilson Odobert, who is recovering from a hamstring problem of his own. No timeline has yet been set for the former Burnley man’s return.
There are also question marks over the availability of Timo Werner, who has a minor groin issue, and youngster Mikey Moore, who missed the flight to Turkey through illness. Postecoglou suggested that both were likely to be absent this weekend in his press conference, and it looks very probable that Son Heung-Min and Brennan Johnson will once again flank central striker Dominic Solanke, who scored off the bench against Galatasaray.
Vicario; Udogie, Romero, Drăgușin, Porro; Maddison, Bentancur, Kulusevski; Son, Johnson, Solanke.
