I am a football writer who covers Manchester United and Manchester City for ManchesterWorld. Reporting on two of England’s biggest clubs is something I absolutely love and there’s no shortage of drama, excitement and silverware when it comes to writing about the Manchester teams. Reporting on United has had its ups and downs, from the decline under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the resurgence since Erik ten Hag took over at Old Trafford. Meanwhile, watching Pep Guardiola’s work at the Etihad has been a pleasure - with a few goals from Erling Haaland along the way. Previously I worked for United’s in-house media team as well as the likes of Goal, BBC Sport and the FA in the past. Born in Birmingham, I grew up in Belfast where I also studied Sports Studies at the University of Ulster. In 2017, I relocated to Manchester to complete my MA in Sports Journalism and ended up staying in a city I absolutely love. A role covering football is definitely for me, and I absolutely live and breathe the sport - whether that’s watching on TV or even attempting to play myself. I’m a big TV fan as well and try to read as much as possible.
