Welcome to today’s round-up of all of the biggest transfer rumours from around the Premier League – and let’s start with Chelsea, who are starting to lay plans to rebuild the squad which they’ve only just tried to rebuild in the first place.

Mauricio Pochettino wants to make quite a few changes, but that means players will have to make way to cover profit and sustainability requirements – and not only could Conor Gallagher leave, as previously reported in the media, but it could also now mean the end of Axel Disasi’s Chelsea career. The Frenchman, who arrived for around £38m just this summer, is already a potential sacrifice as Pochettino looks to reshape his defence.

The good news for Disasi is that Bayern Munich are apparently interested in thrashing out a deal – at least according to Sport Witness. Apparently the club are “already in contact” with Disasi’s representatives, although the potential price tag isn’t discussed. There is also no confirmation as to whether Disasi has even finished unpacking his bags yet.

The 3AM Verdict: The former Monaco man has generally done very well when playing at right-back but isn’t the soundest defensively, so perhaps Pochettino wants someone with a little less ball-playing talent and a little more ability to mark a man successfully. Maybe losing him so soon after he arrived wouldn’t be a fatal blow to the club, but it would still be a shame to see him leave. Unless Bayern cover the money already paid, of course… getting his £80,000 per week wages off the bill probably won’t hurt, either.

Man City eyeing up Brazilian wonderkid

If you haven’t heard of Gui Ruck, you can be forgiven – for starters, he’s 14 and has understandably not played a senior game as yet. But the Brazilian-born midfielder, who has spent most of his young career in Portugal and Spain and is currently on the books of Real Valladolid, has been causing a pretty big stir among the scouts, and Manchester City seem to have taken notice.

Football Insider reckon that they want to sign him next summer, when his contract at Valladolid expires. They’d still have to pay statutory compensation, of course, but by all accounts he’s a very exciting talent with an eye for goal who has impressed clubs like Porto and Atlético Madrid in the past, and City aren’t exactly shy about adding some extra quality to their academy.

The 3AM Verdict: Look, let’s be honest for a moment – as much as we follow youth football very closely here at 3AM, we have never actually seen Ruck play. He's a child. We just know that Real Madrid are reported to be after him too, and that a lot of clubs reckon he’s got a very bright future ahead of him indeed…

Villa in for Israeli star

Speaking of Premier League clubs looking to add some teenage talent to their rosters, Aston Villa are also lining up a bid for Israeli international Oscar Gloukh, who has earned 11 caps despite being just 19 years of age.

According to Football Insider, the Red Bull Salzburg midfielder (who, incidentally, is fantastic in Football Manager) would set Villa back between €40m and €50m (£34.5m-£43.1m) and while the Austrian outfit aren’t keen to sell, their early exit from the Champions League means they may need to cash in, even though he only joined the club over the summer.

The 3AM Verdict: We have seen Gloukh play, and he’s very impressive – technically excellent with lovely control and a good passing range. He’s got a lot to work on, especially in terms of the defensive side of his game, and he’s not speedster, but there’s a great deal of raw talent to work with. Whether he’s worth £35m or more at such an early stage of his career is up for debate, but it wouldn’t be the worst way to spend the money if they end up selling Douglas Luiz.
