Liverpool will be hoping to keep the pressure on Premier League leaders Arsenal when they come up against Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon. The Reds relinquished their spot at the summit of the table with a 2-2 draw against Manchester United last weekend, and now find themselves trailing the Gunners on goal difference alone.

For their part, Palace are 14th in the table, five points clear of the relegation zone. The Eagles have taken just two points from their last five top flight outings, and were beaten 4-2 by Manchester City last weekend.

But how will Liverpool line up at Anfield this weekend? We’ve taken a closer look at the Reds’ current injury list, as well as any potential return dates where available, below...

Alisson Becker

The Anfield number one has been sidelined for some time with a thigh problem, but is understood to be nearing a return to action. Speaking last week, Jurgen Klopp said: 'Ali is with the GK coaches, but [he] looks good as well. I think in his mind as well, next week parts of team training.' All being well, he could feature in Sunday’s match day squad.

Trent Alexander-Arnold

At the end of March, Klopp claimed that Alexander-Arnold would be available in around a fortnight. The Liverpool manager said: 'It's going well now. [I'm] in the final stages and just excited to get back out there. I think a couple of weeks if everything keeps going well and there are no setbacks.' Since then, the full-back does not appear to have suffered any notable setbacks, and will be hopeful of featuring in some capacity at the weekend.

Diogo Jota

Like Alexander-Arnold, Jota has been suffering with a knee problem, and like his teammate, he may also be fit enough to play some part against Crystal Palace. Speaking last week, his manager said: 'Diogo and Trent are together in a group, which helps both, but [it] looks like from next week on, they will be hopefully in parts of team training, and then we will see the rest.'

Joel Matip

In less positive news, Matip will not play again this season having ruptured his ACL back in December. Based on rough estimates, it could be September before we see the Cameroonian centre-back in a Liverpool shirt once again.

Thiago Alcantara

Thiago has endured a nightmarish campaign, and has been reduced to just one cameo appearance in a game against Arsenal at the Emirates. The midfielder looks set for a lengthy period out, and if some reports are to be believed, may have already played his last game for Liverpool. Speaking in February, Klopp said: 'Yeah, there's no timescale. I don't know, to be honest. It's a couple of things [that] he has to do now from a medical point of view, and then I don't know if that will then mean that he can play again [this season].'

Stefan Bajcetic

The young midfielder has been consigned to a watch brief for some time now, but finally looks to be on the cusp of a return to full fitness. Speaking last week, Klopp said: ‘[Stefan] trains now fully with the U21s this week. That means we will take him in training next week with us and then we will see. Another one coming, and that’s super-important.' The end of April could be a realistic target.
