Liverpool will look to get their season back on track when they face Fulham in the Premier League this Sunday – and Jürgen Klopp will have plenty of options with many of his players returning to fitness ahead of the game at Craven Cottage.

They will be without Conor Bradley once again after the Northern Ireland youngster suffered an ankle ligament injury and have several long-term absentees, but key players like Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alisson are back to bolster Liverpool for the title run-in.

We’ve collected all of the latest team news and injury updates below and ventured our best guess at Klopp’s starting line-up for Sunday’s showdown with Marco Silva’s mid-table side – and if you’re looking for some information ahead of the Fantasy Premier League transfer deadline, you can also find our high-flying FPL coach’s regular advice column right here.

Goalkeeper & Defence

Alisson is back to full fitness and back in possession of the number one jersey having come through the matches against Crystal Palace and Atalanta without issues. Alexander-Arnold likewise featured in both games after a fairly lengthy lay-off, but hasn’t yet come through a full 90 minutes. He is still likely to start against Fulham but his minutes may be managed over the coming weeks with Joe Gomez a possible deputy at right-back.

Bradley, who has been so impressive as Alexander-Arnold’s stand-in, has suffered damaged ankle ligaments, but the injury is not believed to be serious – Klopp compared his injury to the recent problem endured by Ryan Gravenberch and said he would probably be unavailable for another two weeks or so. Joël Matip remains out for the season thanks to an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Midfield

With Curtis Jones and Gravenberch both back to full fitness, Klopp is as close to a full slate of midfielders as he has been almost all season – and there is some further good news, with 19-year-old midfielder Stefan Bajčetić back in training after a long spell out with an adductor injury. The Spaniard was hugely impressive in his first senior season last year but hasn’t played in the Premier League in 2023/24 as yet. He is unlikely to feature this weekend, however, with Liverpool carefully managing his return.

His compatriot Thiago Alcântra, sadly, remains absent after a serious hamstring injury which struck him immediately after he returned from a long lay-off after undergoing surgery on a hip problem. Liverpool have not put a timeline on his return, but he is not expected to play again this season and with his contract expiring this summer, he may have played his last match at Anfield.

Forwards

Diogo Jota is back after missing around two months of action with a damaged collateral knee ligament, although he has only made appearances from the bench since returning to fitness. With the Portuguese winger once again available, the only forward out of action is Scottish teenager Ben Doak – he is unlikely to feature again before next season thanks to a serious knee injury of his own.

Predicted line-up vs. Fulham

Alisson; Robertson, Van Dijk, Konaté, Alexander-Arnold; Endo, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai; Díaz, Núñez, Salah.
