The latest Man Utd and Arsenal team news, injury updates, and predicted XI for Sunday's Premier League fixture

Arsenal will look to continue their Premier League title charge when they come up against Manchester United on Sunday afternoon. The Gunners know that they must maintain a 100% record between now and the end of the season to keep the pressure on Manchester City, who trail them by a point at the summit, but who also have a game in hand left to play.

Last time out, Mikel Arteta’s side put three past Bournemouth without reply, and will conclude their top flight campaign next weekend with a clash against Everton. For their part, United are on a poor run, and have won just one of their previous five Premier League fixtures, slumping to eighth in the process and severely damaging their hopes of European qualification next season.

On Monday night, the Red Devils suffered a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace - a result that has upped the pressure on manager Erik ten Hag heading into the summer. United will wrap up their own Premier League campaign with a trip to Brighton and Hove Albion next weekend.

But how will both sides line up at Old Trafford on Sunday? We’ve taken a closer look at their respective team news and predicted starting XIs below...

Manchester United Team News

Manchester United continue to be plagued by injury, especially in defensive areas, and could have as many as 11 players ruled out of Sunday’s clash with Arsenal. At left-back, Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw are both expected to miss out - although the latter could be back in time to face Brighton next week. In the heart of defence, Harry Maguire, Raphael Varane, and Victor Lindelof are all set to be sidelined, while Lisandro Martinez is a doubt and Willy Kambwala is currently absent for an undisclosed reason.

Elsewhere, Scott McTominay and Bruno Fernandes will also face late assessments, as will Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial. All four could be involved in some capacity.

Manchester United Predicted XI

Andre Onana; Diogo Dalot, Lisandro Martinez, Jonny Evans, Aaron Wan-Bissaka; Casemiro, Kobbie Mainoo; Alejandro Garnacho, Mason Mount, Marcus Rashford; Rasmus Hojlund.

Arsenal Team News

Arsenal head into the final part of the season with a relatively clean bill of health. Indeed, their only lingering injury concern is Jurrien Timber, who sustained a campaign-derailing ACL problem on the opening weekend, and who has been sidelined ever since.

There has, however, been a growing sense of optimism that the Dutchman could play some part before the end of the season, but as yet, nothing has materialised, and it is unclear whether Mikel Arteta will be willing to risk him, or whether he will keep his powder dry and start afresh next term following a full preseason regime.

Speaking recently, the Arsenal manager said: 'It’s tricky because [there are] only three games to go and he’s missed eight months of football. So it's a question that has to be resolved only by throwing him on the pitch and seeing what happens.'

David Raya; Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, Takehiro Tomiyasu; Thomas Partey, Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard; Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz, Leandro Trossard.
