Tottenham will be looking to build on their spirited 3-3 draw against Manchester City with a return to winning ways in a London derby visit from West Ham on Thursday evening. Ange Postecoglou's men left it late to salvage a point in a dramatic affair at the Etihad on Sunday afternoon, striking in the 90th minute to prevent a fourth consecutive top flight defeat.

That result keeps Spurs within six points of league leaders Arsenal, and stops the rot on a truly woeful run that has caused them to sink to fifth in the table after losses against Chelsea, Wolves, and Aston Villa.

As for West Ham, they were held to a 1-1 draw by Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon, denying them a third straight win in the Premier League. The Hammers are currently ninth in the table, but could move to within three points of their hosts on Thursday with a victory in North London.

But how will both sides line up at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium? We've taken a look at their respective team news and predicted XIs below...

Tottenham Team News

Tottenham are still very much in the midst of an injury crisis, with a number of first team talents set to miss out on Thursday's clash with West Ham. Perhaps the most notable absentees are James Maddison and Micky van de Ven, both of whom started the season at a canter, and neither of which are expected to return before mid-January.

Alongside that duo, Spurs are set to be without midfield pairing Rodrigo Bentancur and Pape Matar Sarr, while Eric Dier is also a doubt after picking up a knock. Wide trio Ivan Perisic, Manor Solomon, and Ryan Sessegnon are facing extended periods on the treatment table, young defender Ashley Phillps is out until the new year, and reserve goalkeeper Alfie Whiteman is also sidelined.

There is positive news regarding Cristian Romero, however, who will return to the side after serving a three-game suspension for a red card in the defeat to Chelsea.

Tottenham Predicted XI

Guglielmo Vicario; Pedro Porro, Ben Davies, Cristian Romero, Destiny Udogie; Yves Bissouma, Giovani Lo Celso, Brennan Johnson, Dejan Kulusevski, Bryan Gil; Son Heung-min.

West Ham Team News

By comparison, West Ham head into Thursday's clash relatively unscathed, with their only notable absence likely to be striker Michail Antonio. The forward has been struggling with a knee injury, and while he could be available for Sunday afternoon's clash with Fulham. The expectation is that he will not be fit in time to travel across the capital with his teammates in midweek.

Speaking towards the end of November, Moyes said: “Michail has got a small injury. It’s not a serious injury. It’s probably going to keep him out for a couple of weeks. I don’t think it’s a serious one though. I think about two or three weeks, give or take."

West Ham Predicted XI

Alphonse Areola; Vladimir Coufal, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Nayef Aguerd, Emerson Palmieri; Edson Alvarez, James Ward-Prowse; Mohammed Kudus, Tomas Soucek, Lucas Paqueta; Jarrod Bowen.
