The 2022/23 Premier League title race looks set to go down to the wire, as Arsenal chase their first title win in 19 years.

Mikel Arteta's side head into this evening's clash against Everton in high spirits, having recovered from their brief blip early last month by recording back-to-back away victories against Aston Villa and Leicester City respectively.

A win for Arsenal could see them extend their lead over Manchester City at the top of the table to five points, putting them firmly in the driving seat as the title race moves towards its crescendo.

On this week's edition of the Chris Wheatley show, Chris and Jason Jones take a look at the contract situations of some key members of the squad. With Bukayo Saka's long-term future now looking increasingly likely to be at the Emirates Stadium, the focus is now on the likes of Granit Xhaka and William Saliba, as the pressure grows on the Gunners to tie down the key duo to new deals.

LiverpoolWorld writer Will Rooney also guests on the show this week, and gives his verdict on what Arsenal can expect from their opponents this evening, taking an in-depth look at what the Toffees have changed since the arrival of their new manager, Sean Dyche.

Everton's hopes of avoiding relegation took a blow last weekend, as they slumped to a dispiriting 2-0 loss to Aston Villa at Goodison Park. However, given that they've already beaten Arsenal this season, their opponents will be hopeful of springing a surprise or two when they face off under the floodlights this evening.

The Gunners will still be without injured pair Gabriel Jesus and Mohamed Elneny against Dyche’s side, but midfielder Thomas Partey could again feature as he looks to continue his comeback from a knee injury, after coming on as a subsitute in last weekend’s narrow win against the Foxes.
