The players set to leave Fulham this summer - and seven who could follow them out the door

Fulham vastly outperformed all prior expectations of them last season. Widely tipped for a relegation battle following their promotion from the Championship, the Cottagers instead ticked along at a steady enough rate and were able to finish comfortably in mid-table.

Now, however, comes the tricky part. An infamously difficult second season will be perilous to navigate, although Marco Silva’s men can give themselves the best chance possible of doing so by recruiting well this summer. But while most of the focus will be on incomings, there could well be more than a few departures too. We’ve taken a closer look at who could be bidding farewell to the Cottage below.

Joe Bryan - Will Leave

One of several players who will be leaving Fulham at the end of June, Joe Bryan has been at the club since 2018, but spent last season out on loan in France with OGC Nice. In recent days, it has been reported that the full-back is edging closer and closer towards an agreement with Championship outfit Millwall.

Shane Duffy - Will Leave

While Bryan’s next destination remains undecided, Shane Duffy’s is very much set in stone. The towering Irishman is off to Norwich City at the start of July, with the deal confirmed earlier this month. The former Brighton defender leaves Fulham after making just seven appearances.

Paulo Gazzaniga - Will Leave

The Argentine goalkeeper has spent the past few months in Spain with Girona, and after failing to secure a new contract in west London, he will make his move permanent at the end of June. Now 31, he should offer a decent amount of experience to the La Liga outfit.

Steven Sessegnon - Will Leave

An academy graduate, alongside twin brother Ryan, Steven Sessegnon has never really hit the heights that he might have hoped to. During his time with Fulham, the versatile talent had loan spells with Bristol City, Plymouth Argyle, and most recently, Charlton Athletic. With no contract offered, he will be leaving in the coming days.

Neeskens Kebano - Could Leave

The Congolese winger has been offered a new contract by Fulham, but as yet, there is no word on whether or not he will accept it. There has been talk of a potential move to the Championship, with Sunderland reportedly among those keeping an eye on his situation, but as things stand, nothing is concrete.

Willian - Could Leave

Admittedly, very very unlikely, but until the ink is dry on Fulham’s new contract offer, anything could happen. For his part, Willian has made it clear that he would like to stay at Craven Cottage, saying recently: “I feel the same affection for the Fulham fans [as at Chelsea]. If I can stay here, it would be good.” Surely a matter of when, rather than if, his renewed deal is confirmed.

Joao Palhinha - Could Leave

The first of several Fulham players who have reportedly been attracting significant transfer interest of late, the midfielder is said to be a target for the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United, among others. The Cottagers would no doubt love to keep him, but if a big offer did come in, who knows what might happen.

Tosan Adarabioyo - Could Leave

Adarabioyo has shone in recent months, and has done more than enough to establish himself as a vital cog in this Fulham side. The problem, however, is that his current deal expires next summer, and with talks over an extension having reportedly broken down, there are suggestions that he could be sold in the coming weeks to avoid losing him on a free transfer this time next year.

Antonee Robinson - Could Leave

The American full-back is another who has really impressed since making the transition to Premier League football, and his performances have not gone unnoticed. Among those following his progress are the nouveau riche Newcastle United, but whether the Magpies look to firm up that interest remains to be seen.

Tom Cairney - Could Leave

Reportedly in line for a role in Leicester City’s Championship rebuild, it is understood that the Foxes could come knocking for the Scotland international any day now. Whether Fulham will acquiesce to his exit is unclear, but it’s certainly not out of the realms of possibility.

Rodrigo Muniz - Could Leave

The Brazilian spent last season out on loan with Middlesbrough, and is said to be drawing more than a few admiring glances from South America. Will anything come to fruitition? Perhaps, but at the very least, you would have to argue that were Muniz to leave, nobody would be too shocked.
