Todibo latest

United have been heavily linked with OGC Nice star Jean-Clair Todibo this month, but a summer battle is likely to play out, according to Fabrizio Romano. The transfer insider told CaughtOffside: “Let me clarify once again, there are no clear favourites for the signature of Jean-Clair Todibo, and the expectation is for him to move in the summer, not now.

“It will take time before we know who the favourite is and what kind of evolution there will be in the next months. My information remains that OGC Nice don’t want to sell Todibo in January.”

Sesko linked with Blues

Chelsea are said to be interested in RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko. According to the Standard, the forward is on the Blues' shortlist as they look to add a frontman, likely in the summer. The report adds that there are a number of players on Chelsea's shortlist.

Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen are viewed as pricey options, while Serhou Guirassy and Evan Ferguson are also being viewed as potential targets. Sesko, who is still only 20 years of age, has three goals in 13 league appearances for Leipzig since joining from sister club Salzburg in the summer.

Romano on Arsenal targets

Romano says Arsenal are looking for full-back targets this month as they tread carefully with Financial Fair Play. He told GiveMeSport: “They're looking at possibilities in that position. So, Arsenal are looking at full-backs, and names are being considered. Some are too expensive, so I don't think Arsenal would splash much money there.

"Maybe they're looking for an opportunity in that position. That's the idea at the moment. It will also be important to see what happens with the outgoings.”
