The best cheap wonderkids in FM 27 - all for under £1m
A list of the best cheap wonderkids in Football Manager 2027 - all of whom are valued at under £1m.
Football Manager 2027 is in early access ahead of its official release on 10 November, and we’ve been putting our opportunity to get a sneak peek to good use – by picking out some of the best wonderkids in the game.

We’ve already taken a look at some of the best wonderkids in the game who you might not be familiar with, but quite a few of them were expensive or already playing for big teams, and those of you who start FM27 saves with less wealthy or starry sides might not be able to afford them. To help redress the balance, we’ve gone back to the many saves we’ve spun into the future to pick out eight young talents who won’t break the bank.
All of the players below have a starting minimum price estimate below £1m. Some will be easier to obtain than others on day one, but all of them proven high potential ability in the game on a shoestring budget.
Hearts man among FM27’s best cheap wonderkids

Leart Kabashi – Hearts (AM RC, 18, £600k minimum starting transfer fee): Kabashi probably won’t be obtainable at a reasonable price from the first transfer window because he’s only just moved to Scotland in real life, but the Swiss winger is worth keeping an eye on nonetheless – in a few of our long-term saves, he became a consistent high performer at the elite level, and even in the ones where he didn’t go quite so far he ended up becoming a rock solid player with excellent mental stats and a decent turn of pace.
Andria Bartishvili – Kolkheti-1913 (AM LC/ST, 17, £375k): Bartishvili starts the game on loan at Iberia 1999 in Georgia so, like Kabashi, you’ll have to wait to sign him, but it’s worth the wait – he’s got a great combination of acceleration and technique and with the right training he can go a long way. In most of our saves, an elite side signed him after a couple of years. Try to beat them to the punch if you can.
Matteo Pérez Vinlöf – Dinamo Zagreb (D/WB L, 20, £750k): In each of our saves, Pérez Vinlöf either became a world class left wing-back or – at the bare minimum – one of the best players on a mid-table side in a top league. An excellent all-rounder with superb crossing, dribbling and no meaningful weaknesses, you can’t do much better at the price.
Eduardo Conceiçao – Palmeiras (ML/AM LC, 16, £250k): The Brazilian teenager seems to have quite a wide range on his potential ability and we’ve seen a few saves where he got stuck in Brazil and never developed into a first-rate attacking midfielder. When he does get the right transfer, however, he can develop into an elite winger or number 10 with near limitless creativity. Perhaps make sure that you’re the ‘right transfer’ in question.
Spanish and German starlets among the best cheap young players in FM27

Elias Arden – Fortuna Düsseldorf (D/DM C, 17, £300k): The worst outcome we saw from Arden in any of our saves was his becoming a middle-of-the-pack starter in the Bundesliga, and that’s great value at the price tag on its own. The best outcomes, however, were that he ended up as a physically impressive holding midfielder with great mental stats and consistently exceptional performances.
Akol Akon – Syndney FC (AM RL/ST, 17, free): The ‘free’ valuation is a technicality here and represents the fact that he’s joining American side Colorado on a free transfer before long. That means you’ll have to wait to get your hands on him, but it’s a wait that’s worthwhile given that he typically winds up being very fast, very hard-working and very good on the ball indeed.
Nacho Pérez – Levante (D/WB R, 18, £230k): A full-back with no meaningful weaknesses, Pérez is another player who never turns out to be anything less than a solid player and sometimes hits the heights. For the price tag, there aren’t many better investments in Football Manager.
Gomolemo Kekana – Mamelodi Sundowns (DM/M C, 20, £30k): If you can get your hands on Kekana for anything like £30k, you’ll get one of the biggest bargains in FM27. We’ve seen Kekana end up anywhere from La Liga to the Saudi Pro League but he always ends up as a first-rate holding midfielder, as gone on the ball as off it, and with no genuine weaknesses to worry about. A steal.
