West Ham United play host to fellow London side Crystal Palace this Sunday afternoon, with David Moyes hoping to mastermind a fifth consecutive victory following the Hammers’ late comeback win at Turf Moor last weekend and a 1-0 midweek defeat of Serbian side Bačka Topola in the Europa League.

That too required a late strike – again from Czech midfielder Tomas Souček, who scored in injury time to complete the turnaround against Burnley – but also saw Moyes’ men through to the knockout stages as they continue their hunt for a second European trophy in a row.

The Hammers have very few injury issues ahead of the game against Roy Hodgson's side, but one big question remains – will Jarrod Bowen be ready to return? The England forward has missed the last two games with a knee problem, and we have all the latest on his condition below, as well as all the rest of the team news and updates ahead of kick-off.

Goalkeeper & Defence

Barring late setbacks, West Ham will go into the game against Palace with a completely clean bill of health across the back line and that means the regular back four of Emerson Palmieri, Kurt Zouma, Nayef Aguerd and Vladimír Coufal should start once more.

Moyes did, however, use the Europa League trip to Serbia to give some of his back-up players a chance to impress, with Aaron Creswell, Ben Johnson and Konstantinos Mavropanos all given a rare start. Whether any showed Moyes enough to be offered a place in the first eleven remains to be seen.

Midfield

West Ham should also be going into the game without any midfield issues whatsoever – Mexican midfielder Edson Álvarez and fellow summer signing Mohammed Kudus were both rested for Thursday’s game after coming down with what is believed to have been a minor illness, but both are expected to be healthy enough to play against Palace on Sunday.

Moyes will be especially keen to ensure Kudus is ready and raring to go following a highly impressive showing against Burnley last weekend, and the Ghanaian midfielder is likely to start on the right wing assuming that he is available and Bowen is not. The visitors, meanwhile, are likely to have to make do without England midfielder Eberechi Eze.

Forwards

Bowen is the big doubt for Sunday, with Moyes remaining coy about the prospects of West Ham’s top scorer featuring in the game, from the start or from the bench. The latest rumours, however, suggest that he could be out for another game or two, even if Moyes is clearly not interested in providing too much information for his opponents.

Michail Antonio will definitely miss out thanks to the knee injury he sustained while away on international duty with Jamaica, and isn’t expected to feature again until next weekend at the earliest. Their absences allowed Danny Ings to make his first start of the season last weekend, but an impressive cameo appearance by young strike Divin Mubama might have earned him the chance to start instead, as he did on Thursday.
