Fantasy football managers will gather in mass on the first day of the next Premier League season to lock heads on strategy and kickstart the season to come this August at Fantasy Football Fest.

The event bills itself as "the biggest gathering of avid fantasy football fans in the world" and has announced a London event for the very first Gameweek of the season.

Fans of the game will come together to finalise their line-ups and socialise at the festival - here's all you need to know.

What is Fantasy Football Fest?

Fantasy Football Fest is an event put on by avid users of the fantasy football game. The large majority play the official Fantasy Premier League game run by the top flight but there are popular alternatives including Sky Sports Fantasy Football.

The festival is a relatively new concept but has run two previous events over the past 12 months. The event website explains that the Fantasy Football Fest concept all started with a Tweet that gained traction on social media. During the event, there are expert panels, music, food and drink.

Where and when is Fantasy Football Fest 2023?

Fantasy Football Fest 2023 will take place on Sunday, August 6 this year in London. The event takes place at 26 Leake Street in London near Waterloo Station.

Who will be appearing at Fantasy Football Fest 2023?

The first line-up has been announced for Fantasy Football Fest 2023 with more to come in due course. There will be a live podcast from popular show FPL Blackbox with AZ & Mark as well as a set from comedian Lloyd Griffith of Soccer AM and Ted Lasso fame. Tickets are priced at £25, although the event is currently running a £20 sale, and include an arrival drink in the price.
