Liverpool will be looking to keep their four-pronged hunt for silverware alive when they face Norwich City in the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon. The Reds currently sit top of the Premier League, secured a spot in the final of the Carabao Cup earlier in the week, and have made it through to the knockout stages of the Europa League, but will be eager to avoid an upset at Anfield this weekend as they bid for a trophy-laden campaign.

Jurgen Klopp's men overcame a considerable obstacle when they ousted Arsenal from the competition in the third round, and will be hoping for a much easier time of things against their visitors on Sunday. Liverpool have won each of their last seven clashes with Norwich, and haven't been beaten by the Canaries since 1994. The last meeting between the two teams came in the FA Cup in 2022, with the Reds running out 2-1 winners.

For their part, Norwich required a replay to knock Bristol Rovers out in the last round, registering a 3-1 victory at the second time of asking. In the Championship, David Wagner's side sit eighth in the table, two points off the play-offs, having recorded two wins in their last three league outings.

But how will Liverpool line up against them on Sunday afternoon? We've taken a look at the latest team news and predicted starting XI below...

Liverpool Team News

Liverpool are set to be without a number of first team options heading into Sunday's clash at Anfield. At the back, Joel Matip is expected to be sidelined for the rest of the season after suffering a serious knee injury last year. Speaking about the defender's absence at the time, his manager said: "It's an ACL, ruptured, so that's what I unfortunately expected from the first second. Everything looked like that. Very unfortunate."

Elsewhere, full-back Kostas Tsimikas is still ruled out with a shoulder problem, but there is positive news regarding Trent Alexander-Arnold. Klopp stated in a press conference on Tuesday: "Trent is progressing well through his rehab, working hard. But he will back in the end of the week for team training, so hopefully, he will be available for the FA Cup." Andy Robertson made the bench against Fulham in midweek, but is understood to be lacking match fitness heading into the weekend.

In midfield, Thiago Alcantara continues to plagued by a groin complaint, while Stefan Bajcetic is also expected to be out of action for a while longer. Again, there are reasons to be cheerful, however. Dominik Szoboszlai should be involved in some capacity, while Curtis Jones could be reinstated to the starting XI having making a cameo from the bench in the on Wednesday evening at Craven Cottage. Wataru Endo is still away on international duty at the Asian Cup with Japan.

Liverpool's only other injury concern is Mo Salah. The winger is suffering from a thigh issue sustained while playing for Egypt at the African Cup of Nations, and could be ruled out for a short while as a result. Explaining the situation, Klopp told the press: "It's expected he will return in three to four weeks if everything goes smooth. It will go smooth, and it will go right because of how we've treated his body before."

Liverpool Predicted XI

Caoimhin Kelleher; Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez; Curtis Jones, Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai; Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota.
